Tupperware Tips Seals That Don't Fit1. Soak the lid in hot water for a few minutes. 2. Dry the lid and place it on the container. 3. This will remold the lid to the container and is usually all that is needed to make the lids and container work well together. Removing Stains 1. Use a paste made from baking soda and water. 2. If the stain is set in use straight bleach. Tomato Stains Hot tomato opens the pores and sets into the plastic. Once this happens, since the stain is inside the pores, it will never come out. Removing Odors 1. Seal a charcoal briquette in your Tupperware & leave for a few days. 2. Seal your Tupperware with baking soda inside & leave for a few days. Removing Stickiness Use baking soda paste, degreaser, or diluted bleach to remove the stickiness. Removing Mold Use vinegar to kill the mold. Seal straight vinegar in the product and leave it for a few days. The mold will not grow back unless you have not completed killed it with the vinegar.
